Appointing consultants and specialists

Architects should be the first consultant to be appointed on a project. They can advise you on important aspects and assist you in planning your project from inception.

It is also a good idea to appoint other consultants like a Geotechnical Engineer, Structural Engineer and Quantity Surveyor at an early stage. There could be soil or weather conditions on the site which could implicate the design. A Quantity Surveyor can also provide valuable advice on cost during the design process.

Interior Designers, Landscapers and other Specialists, Suppliers and Installers should also be on-board during the design process to avoid later design changes or even delays during construction.
